GS rescue for German
Maike Albert, an 18-year-old from Germany with just three-months previous riding experience, is on a gap year motorcycling excursion to the UK on a Yamaha YBR125 Custom. Sadly her expedition was cut short in early October when she fell victim to Edinburgh’s bike theft epidemic. The bike was recovered, but was unrideable. When news reached the UKGSER (Ukgser.com) forum they had a whip round and collected more than enough money to pay the £1085 repair bill and send Maike on her way. Good work people.
