KTM 390 Duke

Chirpy A2-ready single has improved looks, spec and refinement. It’s a mini-supernaked

-

It might only be a 373cc four-stroke single, but KTM’S significantly tweaked 390 Duke has loads more visual impact thanks to styling that copies the new Super Duke R. It’s not just plastic and trimmings, either, with the trellis frame redesigned to include a new bolt-on subframe that’s boldly on show. The engine is now ride-by-wire, meeting Euro 4 and keeping all of its claimed 44bhp. New WP forks are ‘open cartridge’ and give a superior ride and better control than previously, and the front brake disc grows in size. Bigger fuel tank too, along with first-in-class TFT (thin-film transistor) display, LED lights, updated seats and adjustable levers. Smart.
