Charming Italian gets major updates... and changes eras

Guzzi have given the adorable V7 a proper seeing to. Ready for this? The 744cc V-twin gets a 10% power boost (52bhp) with new pistons, cylinders and heads (the latter work with larger headers to give more presence). Revised geometry gives crisper handling, shocks are new, and the ’pegs and seat are lower. They’ve fiddled with the looks too, changing the seat, injector covers and side panels. In cast-wheel Stone guise you can’t tell, but the Special (left) now looks 1970s rather than 60s. There’s still a Racer version, plus a limited-edition Anniversario.
