Triumph Bonneville Bobber

Low-rev torque and classic lines meet adjustable ergonomics and riding modes

-

This is Triumph’s classic-inspired T120 Bonnie, reworked as a period hot-rod. The 1200cc parallel twin gets model-specific airbox and management to increase torque and deliver it even lower in the revs, with stubby slash-cut pipes. Monoshock rear suspension is all but hidden, for ‘authentic’ hardtail Bobber looks without the bad back. A 16-inch rear wheel is wider with a bespoke Avon tyre. That aluminium seat pan mounts on a slotted adjuster; slide it forward and up (urban control) or back and low (look-at-me cruising). Clocks adjust too. The Bobber has its own finishes including bronze engine badges, too. All the period charm is juxtaposed by riding modes and traction control. It’ll come in black, red (above), green and silver, or matt ‘Ironstone’. They’ll love it in the States.
