Dealer support pack

In reply to Richard Hill’s letter (Bike, November 2016), I also live in the south east of England, but my experience of Triumph dealers is the polar opposite to his. I bought a 2006 Bonneville T100 in 2012 off a mate, and two years later traded it in at the dealer for a new 2014 Bonneville T100 Black, getting the same trade-in price as I’d bought it for. Earlier this year I traded that T100 in at the same dealer for a new 2016 T120 Black. They gave me £5500 for the T100, exactly the price I asked for, no quibbles. Friendly and helpful to me over the last few years, I’d recommend them to anyone buying a new Triumph. Leo Moth, email

It’s conceivable that Richard and his dealer ‘got off on the wrong foot’. It happens – MG
