For most of my spannering life I’ve used Swarfega to clean my workshop hands, and so probably have you. But tired of its residual stink which persists even after you’ve washed a second time with soap’n’water, I discovered Everbuild Citrus Hand Cleaner at a local builders’ merchant. It does the job just as well, is solvent-free, much cheaper, doesn’t require a second rinse and smells all lemony, thus avoiding offence when enjoying one’s pie and chips with the missus after a hard day in the shed.
