CHANNEL ISLANDS CORNWALL DEVON DORSET SOMERSET WILTSHIRE Some great birds in the region in June included a male Pied Wheatear on the Isle of Wight, where there was also a Whiskered Tern, and a Blyth’s Reed Warbler singing at Rye Harbour, East Sussex, plus a Spotted Sandpiper at Brent Reservoir, London.
