What is this bird?

QI took this photo while on holiday in Canada a few weeks ago at the Reifel Bird Sanctuary near Vancouver. I have not been able to identify it. Can you help me? Graham Sinden

AThis is a Spotted Towhee, a member of the family usually called New World Sparrows, although they are more closely related to our buntings than they are to true sparrows. The Spotted Towhee is a widespread and relatively abundant bird in the western part of the USA and also in southwest Canada.
