AVON VALLEY:

A Black-tailed Godwit was at Bredon’s Hardwick. A Whinchat was at Defford, with two at Gwen Finch Wetland. Shag (30th-31st), Whinchat and Hobby were at Eckington. Wood Sandpiper, Greenshank and Black-tailed Godwit were at John Bennett Wetland. Two Greenshank­s, two Whinchats and three Hobbies were at Kemerton Lake. Two Greenshank­s and two Whinchats were at Lower Moor.

CENTRAL:

An Osprey, Little Stint, Avocet, Ruff, nine Black-tailed Godwits, 10 Greenshank­s, 83 Common Terns, Pied Flycatcher, two Whinchats and two Hobbies were at Grimley. A Whinchat was at Hawford. A Hobby was at Stoulton.

LOWER SEVERN VALLEY:

An Osprey flew over Baugton. Two Curlew Sandpipers, two Sanderling, two Black-tailed Godwits, four Greenshank­s and a Hobby were at Clifton. A Gannet (20th) and Pintail were at Ripple. A Whinchat was at Ryall.

MALVERN HILLS AND COMMONS:

An Osprey flew south over the hills.

NORTH:

Four Black Terns, two Greenshank­s and a Yellow-legged Gull were Bittell Reservoirs. A Yellow-legged Gull was at Lickhill. A Marsh Harrier flew over Wilden Top. Whinchats were at Shenstone and Tanwood. Hobbies flew over Areley Kings and Cookley.

UPTON WARREN:

Highlights included four Little Terns, five Curlew Sandpipers, three Black-tailed Godwits, six Greenshank­s, Pintail, two Med Gulls, Hobby and Ring-necked Parakeet.
