For birdwatche­rs, Arne offers the chance to see heathland birds such as the Dartford Warbler (all year round) and also the Nightjar, in the summer. Its close proximity to Poole Harbour means there are plenty of waders and wildfowl to see, too. Ospreys are regularly seen on migration in late summer and also during autumn.
