Can you help me ID these ducks?

I was at Kenfig Pool in South Wales and could see this pair from a distance. I’m quite new to the birding world but can’t seem to ID these? Phil Evans

QDucks can be tricky to identify for beginners, especially those that are less commonly seen. That grey, vermiculated plumage, along with the black ‘sterns’ of these birds, tells us that these are both Gadwalls. Aand overlying feathers as the birds swim. The grey-black bills indicate that these are both male
