Megas during the month included the Killdeer still at Sandwick, Shetland, a lingering Isabelline Wheatear on Islay, Argyll, and a new Eastern Black Redstart at Torness power Station, Lothian. An American Coot on North Uist, Outer Hebrides, was presumably the returning individual from previous winters.
