Bird Watching (UK)

KEY POINTS

-

1 Check the car park for warblers and walk down to the reception centre looking out for butterflies along the track. 2 Check the woodland for mixed tit flocks that might just include a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker 3 Walking towards the fen hide look out for dragonflies, with Norfolk Hawker a good find along with Swallowtail Butterfly.

4 The tower hide looks over several water bodies. The height gives a chance to scan for birds of prey and any Bitterns flying over. 5 Listen along the Lockford path for Bearded Tits and Cetti’s Warblers. Maybe you will hear the squeal of a Water Rail or the rattling of a Wren.
