The Raptor Smock is designed as a great protective outer to be worn over a base or mid layer. It has a large front zippered kangaroo pocket, side-zippered pockets and side zips for ease of getting on and off. It’s a generous fit with a long length and scalloped back to cover the lower back and bottom, and the articulated underarms allow easy movement without restriction. Made to complement the smock, the Raptor Trousers are tough and hardwearing, perfect for anyone looking for protection from thorns and bracken, or for anyone sitting/ kneeling a lot, such as wildlife photographers, gardeners, staff on reserves, and of course birders. Areas that get the most wear, such as the seat, knee and inner ankles, are reinforced for maximum protection, and articulated knees give unrestricted movement. The high rear waistband with adjustment and five large, strong belt loops provide a great fit, and there are six pockets: two each at the side, thigh bellows and rear – great for carrying any of your small birdwatching paraphernalia! Both garments can be washed normally in the machine on a 40 degree wash, and are available in ‘high and mighty’ sizes for the larger framed gentleman (up to 60 inch chest and 48 inch waist).
