VULTURE CHICKS

The Hawk Conservancy Trust has announced the hatching of two further Oriental White-backed Vulture chicks at the conservation breeding centre at Changa Manga, near Lahore, Pakistan, following the first breeding success last April. It is hoped that a successful breeding programme will underpin future conservation efforts, which include reintroduction of vultures to the wild.
