WHERE TO WATCH?

During the breeding season, Eider are best looked for northwards of the Northumber­land coast and off the west coast of Scotland. In winter, they can be found in these same areas as well as further south on the Yorkshire coast and around the east and south coast, as far as Cornwall. They can be seen at Belfast Lough in Northern Ireland and some can be found off the Welsh coast.
