Bird Watching (UK) - - Location North Norfolk -

We asked: which bird is your favourite summer visitor?

Swallows, they are the epitome of summer. Alex Burnham Swallow without a doubt. Still get emotional seeing the first one every spring. Rob Peters Ring Ouzel found here in the mountains of N Wales; a great bird seen in fantastic scenery! Alan Davies Cuckoo, but no luck for several years. Peter Judd Once we see House Martin or Swifts or Swallows we say summer has arrived so any of those is wonderful. Sarah Hall Has to be the Swift but love the Swallows, Chiffchaff, House Martins & various warblers. Jim Mckeown Swift – the soundtrack to a warm evening in a beer garden. Jack Thorpe Swift every time, especially this year as I have three new nest boxes up and waiting... fingers crossed. Keith Gypps I’ve been listening to Sky Lark for the last two weeks and it fills my heart with joy! Angela Cooper
