We asked: which bird is your favourite summer visitor?

Swallows, they are the epitome of summer. Alex Burnham Swallow without a doubt. Still get emotional seeing the first one every spring. Rob Peters Ring Ouzel found here in the mountains of N Wales; a great bird seen in fantastic scenery! Alan Davies Cuckoo, but no luck for several years. Peter Judd Once we see House Martin or Swifts or Swallows we say summer has arrived so any of those is wonderful.
