GRID REF: NM325354 HOW TO GET THERE: Local operators run day tours from Oban in the summer WHERE TO PARK: On the harbour front, from where the boat leaves TERRAIN: Up and down with one or two steep bits. Easy walking but do watch your ankles as there one or two holes, ruts and muddy bits in the paths. There are other paths that split off from the cliff tops to give good sea views and it’s well worth exploring but do take care ACCESSIBIL­ITY: The Island is in the care of the Scottish National Trust and is open daily throughout the year.
