Bird Watching (UK) - - Uk Bird Sightings -

EAST SUS­SEX: The Serin re­mained around Tide Mills (to 26th at least). The Great Grey Shrike was still at Ash­down For­est (to 22nd at least). A Great White Egret was seen at Rye Har­bour (3rd-17th), with a Bit­tern and Hen Har­rier also there (3rd). An­other Great White Egret was recorded at Cam­ber (5th-8th). There was still a good scat­ter­ing of Waxwings acrossn the county. A Twite was at Cuck­mere Haven (5th-24th). WEST SUS­SEX: The Rose-coloured Star­ling re­mained in Craw­ley through­out the month. Great Grey Shrikes were seen at Waltham Brooks (to 26th) and at Bury Hill (22nd). A Siberian Chif­fchaff was still as­so­ci­at­ing with at least 15 Chif­fchaffs at Cold­waltham STW (22nd). Great White Egret sight­ings came from Arun­del WWT (1st & 26th), North and South Stoke, and Bur­pham (28th). Two Snow Buntings were recorded at East Head (8th). Six­teen Bewick’s Swans were briefly at Arun­del (9th). Three Hawfinches were at West­dean Woods (10th).
