HIGH­LIGHTS: The Glossy Ibis re­mained at Coss­ing­ton and Water­mead CP. A Great White Egret was at Eye­brook Reser­voir (22nd-27th). Waxwings con­tin­ued to build up, in­clud­ing 150 at Glen­field (11th) and 80 in Western Park, Le­ices­ter (20th).

CHARNWOOD: Swith­land Reser­voir had a Ruddy Duck (8th-11th), 21 Man­darins (26th) and 48 Gold­eneyes (22nd). A Mediter­ranean Gull was at Crop­ston Reser­voir (25th). Two Stonechats were at Charnwood Lodge (19th).

NORTH-WEST LE­ICES­TER­SHIRE: A Black Red­start was at Measham (7th). Pairs of Stonechats were at Long­moor Lake and Hicks Lodge. Two Glau­cous Gulls were on Al­bion Land­fill (11th). A Mediter­ranean Gull was on Al­bert Vil­lage Lake (26th).

SOUTH LE­ICES­TER­SHIRE: Shawell A5 La­goons held an Ice­land Gull and Glau­cous Gull (25th). An Ice­land Gull roosted at Stan­ford Reser­voir (25th), where the Long-tailed Duck re­mained.

OTHER SITES: Ten Bram­blings were still at Ow­ston (6th). A Short-eared Owl was near Great Dalby (19th). Three Stonechats were at Eye­brook Reser­voir. Steve Lis­ter (01509 829 495, www.lros.org.uk)
