HIGH­LIGHTS: A House Martin at Be­nacre Broad and Low­est­oft (24th) was joined by a sec­ond bird (from 26th). Twenty Twite were near South­wold (20th). The Great Grey Shrike was seen again at Sut­ton Com­mon (14th-16th). A Slavo­nian Grebe and Black-necked Grebe were at Al­ton Wa­ter Reser­voir. The River Stour held a Great North­ern Diver, Red-necked Grebe, Black-necked Grebe, seven Slavo­nian Grebes and three Vel­vet Scot­ers. The Black-throated Diver and Great North­ern Diver were again seen on the River Or­well. Two Long-tailed Ducks and a Great North­ern Diver were at Alde­burgh (to 4th). A few Long-tailed Ducks, Vel­vet Scot­ers, a Black-necked Grebe and Scaup were off Dun­wich. The Smew stayed at Thor­ing­ton Street Reser­voir (to 11th). There was a smat­ter­ing of tun­dra Bean Geese. The Cattle Egret re­mained at Iken. Glau­cous Gulls were at Mins­mere, Land­guard and Holles­ley Marshes. An Ice­land Gulls was at Land­guard (14th).
