HIGHLIGHTS: A House Martin at Benacre Broad and Lowestoft (24th) was joined by a second bird (from 26th). Twenty Twite were near Southwold (20th). The Great Grey Shrike was seen again at Sutton Common (14th-16th). A Slavonian Grebe and Black-necked Grebe were at Alton Water Reservoir. The River Stour held a Great Northern Diver, Red-necked Grebe, Black-necked Grebe, seven Slavonian Grebes and three Velvet Scoters. The Black-throated Diver and Great Northern Diver were again seen on the River Orwell. Two Long-tailed Ducks and a Great Northern Diver were at Aldeburgh (to 4th). A few Long-tailed Ducks, Velvet Scoters, a Black-necked Grebe and Scaup were off Dunwich. The Smew stayed at Thorington Street Reservoir (to 11th). There was a smattering of tundra Bean Geese. The Cattle Egret remained at Iken. Glaucous Gulls were at Minsmere, Landguard and Hollesley Marshes. An Iceland Gulls was at Landguard (14th).
