WEST MIDLANDS
HIGHLIGHTS: A Dipper was again seen in Selly Oak. The Russian White-fronted Geese flock peaked at 38 in Sandwell Valley. An Iceland Gull remained throughout at Swanshurst Park. A Whooper Swan flew over Sandwell Valley. Two Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers were at Pelsall North Common. Waxwings were widely reported, including 100 in Sutton Coldfield and 50 in Moseley and Castle Vale. A Mandarin was at Trittiford. Two Red Kites were near Meriden. Two Caspian Gulls, an Iceland Gull and Mediterranean Gull were at Bartley Reservoir. Yellow-legged Gulls were at Edgbaston Reservoir, Swanshurst Park and Bartley. Pete Hackett (0121 358 2454)
