HIGHLIGHTS: A Dipper was again seen in Selly Oak. The Russian White-fronted Geese flock peaked at 38 in Sandwell Valley. An Iceland Gull remained throughout at Swanshurst Park. A Whooper Swan flew over Sandwell Valley. Two Lesser Spotted Woodpecker­s were at Pelsall North Common. Waxwings were widely reported, including 100 in Sutton Coldfield and 50 in Moseley and Castle Vale. A Mandarin was at Trittiford. Two Red Kites were near Meriden. Two Caspian Gulls, an Iceland Gull and Mediterran­ean Gull were at Bartley Reservoir. Yellow-legged Gulls were at Edgbaston Reservoir, Swanshurst Park and Bartley. Pete Hackett (0121 358 2454)
