HIGHLIGHTS: A Great Grey Shrike was at Blithfield Reservoir (3rd). The Temminck’s Stint remained around Branston GP (to 24th). Great White Egrets were at Middleton Lakes (one or two throughout), Aqualate Park throughout, Tucklesholme Quarry (8th-26th), Alvecote Pools (12th) and Dosthill (16th). The Velvet Scoter remained around Chasewater. A good scattering of Waxwings remained. A Bittern roosted at Belvide Reservoir throughout, with three Smew there. Doxey Marshes had a Scaup and Water Pipit (6th).
