HIGH­LIGHTS: The Great Grey Shrike re­mained around Soddy Gap. A Great White Egret was at Arn­side (9th and 28th) and Holme (9th). An Ice­land Gull was at Bow­ness-on-win­der­mere through­out, with a Long-tailed Duck (1st-7th). A Glau­cous Gull was at Work­ing­ton (1st-6th). A Black Guille­mot was at White­haven (3rd). The Smew re­mained at Sid­dick Ponds (3rd-27th), with 14 Whooper Swans (5th). A Black Red­start was at White­haven (5th-10th). Five Hawfinches were at Dal­ton Crags (6th). Two Long-tailed Ducks were at Grune Point (7th). A Jack Snipe was at Tewet Tarn (8th), with five at Askham Fell (8th), one at Sun­big­gin Tarn (13th-18th), and three at Askham-in-fur­ness (19th). A Lit­tle Stint was at Port Carlisle (10th-21st). A Smew was at Der­went Wa­ter (12th-14th). A Waxwing was at Sk­in­burn­ness (8th), with 16 at Mil­nthorpe (8th), one at Pen­rith (10th), eight at Brig­steer (14th), four at Bar­row-in-fur­ness (14th), 25 at Ken­dal (16th), one at Cock­er­mouth (16th), and 11 at Carlisle (19th). Three Scaup were at South Wal­ney (9th), one at Grins­dale (12th), and nine at Cas­tle Car­rock Reser­voir (13th). A tun­dra Bean Goose was with 2,000 Pink­feet at Walby (15th). Six Eurasian White­fronts were at Eas­ton (21st). A Green­land-race bird was at Wed­holme Flow (22nd), with seven at Oul­ton (23rd). A Snow Bunting was on Blen­cathra (22nd).
