HIGHLIGHTS: Three Hawfinches were at Kilmany (28th). An American Wigeon visited Birnie and Gaddon Lochs (12th-20th). Two Shore Larks were at Tentsmuir Point (8th) CENTRAL FIFE: A Smew was at Lochore Meadows (6th-17th). Dysart logged a notable 17 Red-throated Divers (11th), with a Black-throated Diver, Great Skua, two Little Gulls and an Iceland Gull also there. Mediterran­ean Gulls were at Buckhaven, Dysart and Pathhead. Waxwings were at Coaltown of Balgonie (9th) and Glenrothes (27 on 11th). Ravens were at Lochore Meadows (6th) and Dysart (19th). EAST FIFE: Largo bay held four Scaup, Surf Scoters, Black-throated Divers and five Slavonian Grebes (2nd). A Great Northern Diver was off Tentsmuir Point (15th). Three Little Egrets visited Morton Lochs (12th), with two at Tayport (15th). Waxwings were at Leuchars (59 on 16th) and Balmullo (16 on 18th). Eight Snow Buntings were at Tentsmuir Point (8th). WEST FIFE: Kinghorn logged Black-throated Divers, Red-necked Grebes, Manx Shearwater­s and Little Gulls. Mediterran­ean Gulls were at Inverkeith­ing, Dalgety Bay and Barns Farm (two on 16th).
