Highlights
The rarest bird in the South East in April was a Blue Rock Thrush at Beachy Head, East Sussex (6 April). Analysis of photographs showed a pattern of scaling on the breast and a tell tale drooping wing strongly pointing to this bird being the long-staying bird from gardens in Stow, Gloucs, making its way south and east.
