HIGHLIGHTS: Four Dotterel were at Therfield (from 26th). A Stone-curlew was at Ellenbrook Fields (22nd). Hilfield Park Reservoir had two Slavonian Grebes (from 29th), an Iceland Gull (5th) and seven Black-necked Grebes. Tyttenhang­er GP logged a Hooded Crow (17th), Iceland Gull (24th-25th), Black Redstart (29th), Temminck’s Stint (30th) and Garganey (from 28th). A Pied Flycatcher was at Aldwickbur­y Pond (18th). Redstarts were at Norton Green (10th) and Hemel Hempstead (17th). A Black Redstart was at Maple Cross (2nd). Ring Ouzels were at Norton Green (10th & 28th), with three at Royston (from 18th) and one at Tewin (20th). Wilstone Reservoir held a Garganey (14th), 17 Black Terns (25th), with two (30th), an Arctic Tern (29th) and Little Tern (30th). Startop’s End Reservoir had two Arctic Terns (20th), plus one (26th), and two Black Terns (24th), with one (30th). An Arctic Tern was at Marsworth Reservoir (17th). Amwell had a Kittiwake (5th), three Garganeys, Arctic Terns (15th & 22nd), a Black Tern (23rd), Wood Lark (23rd) and Fulmar (30th). A Hobby was at Stocker’s Lake (3rd). A Cuckoo was at Hertford (6th). A Hawfinch was at

Hemel Hempstead (23rd). Fifteen Waxwings were at Rickmanswo­rth (5th-15th). A Garden Warbler was at Stevenage (19th). A Wheatear was at Norton Green (19th).
