WHEATEAR

A good-sized chat, which mainly feeds on the ground, on short cropped grass. Males are pale blue above, orange-buff to white below, with black wings and a black mask and ear coverts and a distinctive white rump and black-and-white tail. Females are more toned down, but still have the distinctive rump and tail pattern.
