HIGHLIGHTS:

A Red-throated Diver was at Blue Lagoon (21st). A Great Northern Diver at Calvert (2nd-31st), was joined by another (14th). Whooper Swans were at Calvert (9th) and Kingswood (13th). A Bearded Tit was at Calvert (16th-24th). Single figure counts of Hawfinches were at Black Park (2nd), Grange Farm, Widmer End (11th-27th), Great Hampden (3rd-5th), Great Linford (14th), Great Missenden (27th), Howe Park Wood (2nd), Lillyfee Farm, Wooburn Common (20th-21st), Ouse Valley Park (24th), Stowe (29th), Tattenhoe Park (5th and 20th), West Wycombe Hill (19th) and Wolverton (18th). There were 26 at Little Missenden (24th-31st).

BLUE LAGOON:

There were three Yellow-legged Gulls (30th) and Caspian Gulls (12th and 23rd).

CALVERT LAKES:

There were two Bitterns all month. Yellow-legged Gulls peaked at 14 and Caspian Gulls at five.

LITTLE MARLOW GP:

There was a Merlin (2nd), Jack Snipe (11th), Mediterran­ean Gull (9th), Yellow-legged Gull (11th-15th) and three Caspian Gulls (24th).

OTHER SITES:

A Pintail was at Manor Farm (20th), with two (31st). A Red-crested Pochard was at College Lake (2nd). A Merlin was at Gallows Bridge (1st). A Caspian Gull was at Foxcote Reservoir (2nd). A Lesser Spotted Woodpecker was at Flackwell Heath (15th-28th). Tree Sparrows were at Tingewick (14th), Stowe (14th) and Upper Tove Valley (28th). Twenty Bramblings were at Back Wood (8th) and 12 at Flackwell Heath (17th).
