HIGHLIGHTS:

Six Common Scoters were at Grafham Water (from 6th). A Smew was at Kingfishers Bridge and two at Fen Drayton Lakes. A Shag was at Ferry Meadows (10th-11th). Two Iceland Gulls were at Waterbeach (30th-31st) and one at Cottenham (29th). A Black Redstart was at Northstowe (9th). A Firecrest was at Fowlmere in St. Mary’s Churchyard (12th). Water Pipits were at Kingfishers Bridge, Stretham and Burwell Fen. Ten Hawfinches were at Wimpole Hall. Three Hen Harriers roosted at Wicken Fen. Another was at Eldernell, where there were six Short-eared Owls.
