COTSWOLDS: Cleeve Hill had a Wryneck (31st), four Redstarts, two Whinchats, ten Wheatears and three Tree Pipits. A Short-eared Owl was near Eastleach Martin (6th). A Merlin was near Tetbury (24th). An Osprey flew over Nailsworth (25th) followed by a Little Gull (26th). The Cotswold Water Park held two Great White Egrets, a Marsh Harrier, Black Tern, three Water Rails and a Green Sandpiper in the western section. The eastern section logged four Little Ringed Plovers, 14 Ringed Plovers, two Dunlin, a Black-tailed Godwit, 10 Redshanks, three Green Sandpipers and two Common Sandpipers. Two Whinchats were at Tresham and one at Painswick Beacon. Two Grey Partridges with ten young were at Barnsley. FOREST OF DEAN: Hawfinches included 17 at Nagshead, where a Yellow Wagtail flew over. LOWER SEVERN VALE: Frampton Pools had a Great White Egret, five Green Sandpipers, a Common Sandpiper, Yellow-legged Gull, Little Gull (9th), Arctic Tern and Tree Pipit. Purton logged a Marsh Harrier, four Common Sandpipers, a Sandwich Tern, Arctic Tern, seven Yellow Wagtails and two Tree Pipits. Five Sanderling flew past Sharpness. Berkeley Shore had a Marsh Harrier, 25 Ringed Plovers, a Black-tailed Godwit, Whimbrel, three Common Sandpipers, three Turnstones, a Mediterran­ean Gull, four Whinchats and six Yellow Wagtails. Walmore Common had a Marsh Harrier (14th), four Redstarts, six Whinchats and 18 Yellow Wagtails. Two Whinchats were at Longney and Rodley, with singles at Aylburton Warth and Arlingham. UPPER SEVERN VALE: Coombe Hill Meadows held two Shovelers, three Little Ringed Plovers, a Greenshank, 12 Green Sandpipers, a Common Sandpiper, two Redshanks, 11 Snipe, five Redstarts, two Whinchats and 20 Yellow Wagtails.
