GRID REF: SR 940 943 POST CODE: SA71 5EB ( for the military base at Merrion, Range East together with Range West forming the Castlemart­in Tank Ranges) HOW TO GET THERE: Head south from Pembroke for about five miles on the B4319 before turning left on the minor road for Bosherston. Continue through the village to reach the coast. Alternativ­ely, remain on the B4319 until shortly after passing Merrion Camp, then take the minor road left across the Range to reach the coast at Elegug Stacks, western most extremity of Range East WHERE TO PARK: Parking available at both access points TERRAIN: Cliffs with bays, fissures and blow-holes topped with maritime grasslands and low scrub ACCESS: The Pembrokesh­ire Coast Path in Range East is only open at weekends and on Bank Holidays FACILITIES: None on site, so head into Bosherston Village or return to Pembroke PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Nearest rail station is Pembroke. A very limited Coastal Bus Service reaches both St Govan’s and Stack Rocks at weekends and bank holidays only, alight in the morning at one and board at the other in the afternoon.
