HOW TO GET THERE:

Lying to the south-west of Birmingham city centre on the Bartley Green/ Quinton boundary. From the B4121 Boulevard West, take Stonehouse Lane and follow on to Clapgate Lane to the visitor centre on the right. Nearest motorway M5, junction 3

WHERE TO PARK: Large free car park with disabled parking bays at the main visitor centre entrance

TERRAIN: Level and good paths in parts. The area near the Bourn Brook can be very wet and muddy, so good walking boots/wellington­s are essential here during winter

ACCESSIBIL­ITY:

The area is accessible at all times from various points around the park although the car park is closed at night. Suitable for disabled access around the visitor centre and some paths

FACILITIES: Benches and picnic tables around the visitor centre, children’s play area and urban farm, pony trekking. Toilets with disabled access. Small visitor centre open from 10am, for drinks and snacks. Display area with numerous maps and photograph­s of the area, including nearby Bartley Reservoir
