Two-barred Greenish Warbler is, these days, a bona fide BOU species on The British List. It is still very rare in the UK, with fewer than 10 accepted records. So, one seen and photographed at Orford Quay, Suffolk on 13th was a genuine big deal. Who knows if the drake Hooded Merganser at Titchwell RSPB, Norfolk, on 12th will be accepted as wild?
