Awards are Champion, says Brum brand guru

-

THE ICC will be welcoming hundreds of guests on October 26 for a night that seeks to celebrate the growing success of the city’s business community at the Birmingham Post Business Awards.

Birmingham is one of the largest cities in the UK with a booming business community that keeps on growing and year after year the awards draw upon these top-performing businesses that have displayed innovation and an unwavering drive to achieve in the past 12 months.

The 13 carefully selected categories cover a host of industries, including law, financial services, sales and marketing, international trade, small and new businesses as well as the most highly sought after award of the night - Company of the Year.

Leading brand agency Champions (UK) plc has joined the line of sponsors at this year’s awards helping to make the evening possible.

Champions (UK) plc is located in Loughborough and comprises five key departments – creative, celebrity, marketing, PR and events, the latter of which have been an intrinsic part in the organisation of this year’s Birmingham Post Business Awards.

Matthew Hayes, managing director of Champions (UK) plc, said: “Champions (UK) plc is the official organiser of 12 regional sports and business awards throughout the East and West Midlands.

“Over the years, we have witnessed first hand the positive effect these nights of celebration have on the businesses that attend.

“As a prominent business ourselves and with valuable business relationships throughout Birmingham, we understand the importance of promoting the individuals, companies and organisations who work hard to improve the county’s economic community.

“The Birmingham Post Business Awards will generate a morale that will last far into the future and boost employee motivation, so when we were asked to take over the awards earlier this year we of course jumped at the opportunity.”

Mr Hayes highlighted the key attributes that Birmingham had contributed to the city’s business success.

“Birmingham is home to a number of fantastic attractions, from the National Sea Life Centre and Bullring, Think tank and the NEC, which draw in tourists from around the country,” he added.

“These visitors have a huge impact on the tourism and hospitality sector in Birmingham.

“Working closely with a number of businesses from across the city, it is also clear the community spirit that bounces from business to business is what drives the region’s success.”

Looking ahead to the next few months, Mr Hayes said: “Since its establishment in 2003, Champions (UK) plc has grown immensely and our upward trajectory looks to only rise in the upcoming months and years.

“We are always looking to expand our five departments and we pride ourselves on welcoming new and innovative talent to our valued workforce.

“We create cohesive brand identities and consistent messaging for our business clients – a database that we are always looking to expand upon.

“We will undoubtedly be opening our doors to whole host of new businesses from around the country and we look forward to guiding them to success and growing alongside them.”
