A HISTORIC building in the heart of Birmingham’s business district is now fully let after a deal was struck with Godwin Developments.

The investor and developer has taken 712 sq ft of office space on a five-year lease in the Grade I-listed 122 Colmore Row, making the short move from nearby 112 Colmore Row.

The letting to Godwin Developments, which also has an office in Nottingham, is the second in quick succession at 122 Colmore Row after Sanderson Weatherall took 732 sq ft on a five-year lease.

The chartered surveying firm, which has offices around the UK, has relocated its Midlands operation from Solihull to Birmingham city centre.

Property consultancy advised landlord Evenacre Godwin deal.

CBRE director Theo Holmes said: “122 is one of the most desirable office buildings on Colmore Row CBRE on the thanks to Evenacre’s trademark high-end, contemporary interior design. To find such an upmarket specification on offices in this size range is unique in Birmingham city centre and ultimately the reason why it is now fully let.”

Paul Jones, managing director of Evenacre, added: “We are delighted to welcome Godwin Developments and Sanderson Weatherall to 122 Colmore Row. We have also recently completed the acquisition of 144 Newhall Street and continue to seek other opportunities within the city.”
