Honouring the best in business
THIS year’s Birmingham Post Business Awards have attracted a wealth of nominations for some outstanding businesses that truly deserve to be honoured for their invaluable contribution to the city.
Our sponsors have faced an extremely tough task in deciding which firms should make the shortlist for each of the hotly contested 13 categories.
Today we are proud to showcase each of our finalists and their achievements as we countdown to the awards night at the ICC on Wednesday, October 26.
The transformation of Birmingham continues at a rapid pace, with huge regeneration projects bringing a raft of exciting opportunities to the city.
As such, it is vital that we acknowledge the fantastic achievements of our businesses and their contribution to this growth and development.
This year we saw the first phase of the Midland Metro extension come to fruition.
The £500 million Paradise Birmingham project is underway.
And Eastside has become a focus for important future plans as the discussions about HS2 continue.
Birmingham is winning increased international acclaim for its innovative and creative transformation, which is attracting investment from across the UK and overseas also.
This is aided by our young population whose talents are being honed in our excellent universities, ensuring we have the skills and expertise to build on this success in the future
The Birmingham Post Business Awards would not be possible without the help provided by their many sponsors and partner organisations.
This year the headline sponsors are Turkish Airlines and Mattioli Woods plc.
We would like to thank them for their assistance and advice along with our category spon- sors, which include Birmingham Airport, Jerroms, IKEA, Jaguar Land Rover, Browne Jacobson and Birmingham City University.
Our thanks also go to event partners, the ICC, JLT, Amplify and The Belfry.
We are also pleased to thank Champions (UK) plc, which has worked in partnership with the Birmingham Post this year to continue to make BPBA a prominent event on the West Midlands’ Business calendar.
The 13 awards up for grabs range from the NotFor-Profit Organisation Award, Sales And Marketing Award, Small Business Of The Year and the acclaimed Company Of The Year Award.
