Adomah gets into the swing of things now

-

DANCING winger Albert Adomah wants to treat Villa fans to more of his moves after opening his claret and blue account against Cardiff City.

The Ghana international slotted home at the far post to notch his first Villa goal since his deadline-day move from Premier League side Middlesbrough.

Adomah immediately darted to the corner flag to perform a routine that he had clearly been practicing for some time (above).

When asked about his swinging hips, he responded: “The celebration was penned in!

“I’ve been working on it for a long time and it was a great joy when it came so I had to show the supporters. There’s still more to come and hopefully I get more goals. I’ve got a variety of routines.”

Adomah was joined near the corner flag by Jonathan Kodjia, who he teed up to score his seventh goal of the season shortly before half-time.

And Adomah is pleased to see his team-mate in such explosive form. He added: “Jonathan did really well last week and he did amazing to score the goal.

“At the moment it’s going for him and he’s in form so hopefully he can keep it up and keep on scoring goals.”

The 28-year-old Adomah experienced promotion from the Championship with Middlesbrough last season and reckons Steve Bruce’s Villa are also capable of making the grade, despite their sluggish start to the campaign.

“This team has got what it takes to get promotion and with the new gaffer coming in, he has brought discipline and a mentality of winning games,’’ he said. “Hopefully we can keep that up, we are going in the right direction at the moment.”
