New clients for city ad agency

-

BIRMINGHAM-BASED advertising agency Bareface has secured a hat-trick of new clients.

It has been recruited by the United Kingdom Sailing Academy to work on its creative and digital briefs while The Whisky Lounge appointed Bareface to promote its Birmingham Festival.

The trio of new briefs was completed by a Christmas fundraising campaign for the charity St Mary’s Hospice.

New faces joining the Digbethbased agency are head of digital Louis Thompson, lead designer Adrian Iliescu and designers Christina Smith and Alex Heron.

Mr Thompson said: “To win these new accounts and projects has been hard but rewarding.”

Managing director Simon Morris added: “2016 has been a momentous year.

“We have grown significantly, hired some incredible talent and supported two rewarding events in the city with the Fusion Technology Meetup and The Brummies. Most importantly, we’ve produced some fantastic work for our clients. 2017 looks equally exciting with new client wins to announce early in the new year.”

Elsewhere in the city’s creative sector, Jewellery Quarter-based PR agency Big Cat has won a contract to work with fresh produce handler Minor Weir & Willis.

As well as being Birmingham born and bred, the fresh produce firm was established in 1963 to supply an extensive range of fruit, vegetables and salads from all around the world, to sell in the UK’s food service market and Continental Europe.

The independent agency has been appointed by MWW to build brand awareness and increase market share.
