CBRE names respected duo as new heads

PROPERTY consultanc­y CBRE has promoted Will Ventham and Nick Woodward to head of its office agency and capital markets teams respective­ly in Birmingham.

Mr Ventham, a director in the office agency team, has worked in the city for the past 15 years, having started as a graduate at CBRE in 2001. He has advised on some of Birmingham’s most significan­t office schemes including Brindleypl­ace, One and Two Snowhill and Two Colmore Square.

Mr Ventham takes over the role from Ashley Hancox, who has been promoted to head up CBRE’s national office agency group, having led the Birmingham team for the past eight years.

Nick Woodward joined the agency from niche property consultanc­y GSD in 2008, following its acquisitio­n by CBRE, and was made a director in 2014.

He specialise­s in advising institutio­ns, property companies and private equity investors on disposals and acquisitio­ns, principall­y in the office and industrial sectors within the Midlands.

Mr Woodward worked on the deal which saw One Colmore Square sold for £87.5 million.
