New senior surveyor for Harris Lamb

PROPERTY consultanc­y Harris Lamb has appointed a senior building surveyor to its team in Birmingham.

Michael Dooley has provided services for developers, investors, lenders and occupiers throughout the UK and worked within a number of specialise­d sectors including industrial, financial, healthcare and retail.

Paul Wells, who heads up the team, said Mr Dooley’s experience, skills and project performanc­e record had made him the perfect choice to strengthen the department.

He said: “We are overseeing a diverse range of projects all over the UK and Michael’s experience will be an excellent fit.

“He has represente­d both public and private sector clients and, having seen the scale of the projects he has worked on to date, we’re looking forward to putting his skills into immediate practice.

“He will be a valuable asset to his colleagues as he manages projects and provides expert advice and support to our client portfolio.”

Mr Dooley, who joins the business from Cushman & Wakefield, said: “I was attracted to the business because of its strong client portfolio and the diversity of the projects its building consultanc­y works on.

“Already, I’m seeing how active the department is and I’m looking forward to being able to apply my skills and help deliver projects to the high standard the business expects.”

Recruitmen­t is ongoing for more surveyors to add to the team.
