Motorists seen as a cash cow by council
DEAR Editor, It comes as little surprise that Birmingham City Council is turning the screws on the motorist. Parking fees are going up; there are more speed cameras being placed around and, wait for it, there are going to be more parking restrictions.
This is how the council intends to claw back money from the Government cuts. The motorist is the easiest target and has always been seen as a cash cow.
An anti-car Labour administration will hammer the motorist until they bleed money because as we have seen from an elitist council, the only car they want on the road is their own. S T Vaughan, Yardley Wood
