Europe has flushed our millions away

DEAR Editor, It is no wonder the European Union wants £100 billion off Britain for leaving – they will just flush their money down the drain.

They wasted millions moving to Strasbourg and back. Last year they wasted £300 million on a ‘Space Egg’ in Brussels and they plan to build a new European Parliament at a cost of £440 million when the old one was only finished in 1993.

Why doesn’t the EU help poor old Greece? It needs another bailout urgently, a member of the European Bank has warned.

The official said that delaying a fourth cash injection would only make the skint country’s woes worse.
