Global award for city-based web designers
BIRMINGHAM advertising agency Bareface has scooped global awards for its web design work.
The Digbeth-based agency, which also has offices in London, Singapore and New York, took home the prizes at the 2017 Communicator Awards which are run by US-based Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts.
Bareface won for a website it designed and built for Boss Design Group, a Dudley-based manufacturer of high end furniture.
This was the 23rd annual Communicator Awards, which received more than 6,000 entries from around the world, and recognised creative excellence from the communication industry.
Bareface’s managing director Simon Morris said: “To have won not one but two Gold-Excellence Awards in a field as competitive as this, and judged by some of the industry’s top talent, is an incredible achievement for the team.
“Befitting the client, we also created a minimalist, easy to navigate, yet stylish user interface, because visual aesthetic is very important for Boss Design.”
The website was created to show off Boss’s Myriad range of modular office furniture.
Bareface also won silver at the W3 awards at the end of last year for the same work.
It recently signed a deal with Semilac UK which provides hybrid nail polishes and salon accessories from its headquarters in Solihull.
