Solicitors’ sky-high success for charity

TWO solicitors from Birmingham law firm Clarke Willmott took a leap of faith and jumped out of a plane to raise money for local charity Sport 4 Life.

Robin Canning and Tina Bhakri from Clarke Willmott’s commercial property team completed a sponsored Skydive for the charity which is the office’s chosen charity for 2017.

Raising £1,180 in sponsorshi­p for the cause, the skydive took place in Langar, Nottingham­shire.

Sport 4 Life is the leading sport-foremploym­ent charity in Birmingham and offers programmes to disadvanta­ged young people in the city aimed at improving their employabil­ity and key life skills through sports-themed personal developmen­t.

Rayner Grice, head of Clarke Willmott’s Birmingham office, said: “I can only commend Robin and Tina for having taken on this adventurou­s challenge to support Sport 4 Life.

“Having worked with Sport 4 Life for nearly 12 months, everyone in the Birmingham office has seen first-hand the difference that they make to Birmingham’s young people and we are delighted to support them in continuing their fantastic work.”
