WEST Midlands accountancy group Baldwins has made its largest acquisition to date by acquiring two practices in Scotland.

The expansion north of the border will boost its revenue to £89 million.

Baldwins has bought £16 millionturnover Campbell Dallas, which has five offices in Scotland and 260 staff, and Edinburgh-based Springfords which also has offices in Livingston and Falkirk.

The three offices have 40 staff and an annual revenue of £2.7 million.

Campbell Dallas’ clients range from individuals to family-run businesses and larger corporates in all sectors including automotive, healthcare, brewing and distilling, rural and food and beverage. Springfords provides accounting, management information and specialist financial advice to individuals and larger businesses.

Director David Baldwin said: “Joining forces with Campbell Dallas and Springfords will lead to further growth for both businesses.

“It is very exciting for Baldwins to have offices in Scotland for the first time and we are looking to add further practices to our group.

“These two deals represent major step forward for the group.

“We all share the same ambitions towards growth and we remain focused on providing information and expert advice to our clients a every step of the way from start-ups to larger businesses.

“By working together, our expertise will mean we can all become stronger and grow our range of services and expand into new areas.”
