Midland dental practice bought by two brothers

-

A LONG-established Birmingham dental practice has been acquired by two brothers from Coventry.

Addison Dental Practice, in Redhill Road in West Heath, has been bought by brothers Rohit and Karan Farmah.

The practice was established in 1975 by Wayne Addison and over the years has expanded.

In 1992, it moved to a purposebuilt, highly equipped site housing four modern surgeries.

More recently further investments have been made in the business, with the extension of two dedicated rooms for the decontamination of instruments.

In addition, the practice also offers diagnostic and screening procedures and the treatment of disease, disorder and injury.

Predominantly a NHS dental practice at present, it also provides private orthodontic specialist care and the Farmah brothers said they were now looking to expand and develop the private services to include cosmetic dental treatments, facial aesthetics and implants.

Rohit Farmah said: “We are thrilled that we have been able to acquire Addison Dental Practice as it has a great reputation in the local area.

“It has always been our dream to own a practice so that we can offer our patients the highest standard of care, in a family based environment.”

Manoj Patel, relationship director at Barclays which provided funding to support the deal, added: “I am delighted we have been able to support the brothers in realising their ambition of purchasing their own practice and wish them well for their future success.”

Mr Addison will be staying on in the practice to offer support to the brothers.
