New escape game opens doors in city

A NEW “escape game” will open in Birmingham city centre this week.

Escape Hunt will launch its new venue at The Square, in Corporation Street, which will have two games, called Our Finest Hour and The Fourth Samurai.

Teams of two to six players are locked in a room and given one hour to crack a series of clues in order to escape.

Escape Hunt launches on March 16 and will join a growing list of these attractions which have opened in Birmingham in recent years including Escape Live and Clue HQ, both in the Jewellery Quarter, and Keyhunter in Southside.

The Asian company, whose first branch opened in Bangkok in 2013, announced last year that it was planning to launch up to eight new sites across the UK after a £12 million flotation on the London Stock Exchange.

It is also open a game in Bristol alongside the new venue in Birmingham.
