Colliers to market Bank leisure space

-

PROPERTY consultancy Colliers International has been instructed as joint agency to market the leisure space at new residential scheme The Bank.

The development is located at the corner of Sheepcote Street and Broad Street and will see 394 apartments built across two separate blocks. Both buildings will have ground-floor commercial and retail space.

Gary Bucknall, associate director at Colliers International in Birmingham, said: “Birmingham has undergone somewhat of a leisure renaissance in recent years, boasting five Michelin-starred restaurants and welcoming a number of new entrants into the market, including The Ivy and Revolución de Cuba.

“The Bank is in an enviable position as not only will it boast a dedicated customer base from residents within the towers but it will also tap into two further distinctive captive audiences.

“By day, it sits within Bir- mingham’s principal business and banking district, with over 10,000 employees working within the immediate area of Brindleyplace and, by night, The Bank is at the centre of one of the UK’s biggest and most dynamic leisure hubs, with the ICC and Birmingham Arena all within five minutes’ walk.

“As such, we expect to receive a great deal of interest for these units.”

Colliers International will jointly market the units alongside Wright Silverwood.
