GVA extends service deal at Brindleyplace
PROPERTY consultancy GVA has signed a deal to continue deliver ing property management services at Brindleyplace in Birmingham.
The firm will deliver services across a total of 1.5 million sq ft on the estate, including offices at numbers 3, 4, 5 and 6 Brindleyplace, and the Oozells Building, which is currently undergoing a £4 million refurbishment.
The services include rent and service charge collection, building and facilities management, marketing, communications and events.
It also handles charity relationships and commercialisation opportunities for the public realm alongside management and maintenance of the estate’s two public spaces, Central Square and Oozells Square.
It also oversees the lease management of the Crescent Theatre, the onsite car park Q Park and Costa café.
GVA, which has been a tenant at Brindleyplace for almost three decades, has also undertaken customer and tenant research surveys, and launched sustainability and wellbeing initiatives, including the installation of rooftop beehives.
Brindleyplace is Hines UK.

As we are looking to put in place a number of new changes and initiatives at the development, including the substantial £4.1 million refurbishment of the former 9 Brindleyplace into the Oozells Building, which is due to complete shortly.
